About Me
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, I grew up in eastern Tennessee. My university degree is in Bluegrass, Old-time, Country, and Celtic Music Studies at East Tennessee State University (GO BUCS!), where I focused on vocals and acoustic guitar.I moved to San Diego, California in 2017, and there I met my wife Ash. When the pandemic hit, we moved back to the south, settling in North Carolina. Now, we live in Gijón, Asturias, Spain.I thoroughly enjoy making music (see my Bandcamp/SoundCloud links below), playing video games (huge soft spot for 90's-2000's JRPGs), hiking with our dog Django, and learning Spanish.
Professional Career
I started my career working at a movie theater when I was 16. After college (along with other jobs), I worked at a brewery for a few years before moving to San Diego, where I went to a coding bootcamp and got a job as a technical support agent at MadCap Software.After a year, I was promoted to Product Manager at MadCap, and worked as a PM for over 3 years before I was let go due to a reduction in Force.Now I'm on the lookout for a meaningful job in tech - ideally as a PM or Tech Support agent, but I am open to anything.
